NORMAN, OK — The new Performance Plus air conditioning series from Luxaire delivers a new standard in efficiency to the Luxaire line of residential air conditioning units.

With a base 12 SEER rating, the Performance Plus can provide even higher efficiency when matched with a Luxaire variable-speed furnace or air handler, as high as 14 SEER. The unit is available in capacities ranging from 11/2 to 5 tons of cooling: the perfect fit for today’s residential replacement market.

The Performance Plus also sets a new standard in quiet operation. Specially designed rippled coil fins, a fan coil guard, rubber compressor mounts and a compressor blanket contribute to sound levels as low as 70dB.

All-copper fittings and a top-of-the-line solid core filter-drier offer added internal protection. On the outside, an easy-to-clean coil guard combines with a tough, high-gloss powder-coat finish. This finish, which is applied over primer-coated pre-painted steel, protects the unit from the elements, extending the life of the system while setting a new standard in styling.

Luxaire offers a 10-year limited warranty on the Performance Plus compressor and a 5-year limited warranty on all other parts.
